In the article "Points to Ponder,"the author writes about heavies intentionally stepping on arrows to break them. I have seen this practice done. I have also heard of a practice called "The Heavy Fighter Shuffle," where in the heavy steps forward with one foot and drags the toe of the other thus snapping arrows caught under the planted foot.
My proposal is to get a new rule set before, and hopefully approved by, the Crown stating, "If during a war any member of the marshellet sights any fighter intentionally breaking arrows is to be first taken aside and warned, as well as having to apologize to the owner of the arrow and any reimbursement needed to cover the price of the broken arrow(s) made. If it happens, the fighter is removed from the field for the remainder of the war. As well as having to do the above, if he/she refuses then there should be a public thing done to single this person out at court."
